The water appears dark and somewhat murky, influenced more by the wind than by the actual current. There are no signs of visible pollution.

Both directions exhibit clear signs of environmental health, with no visible pollution and an abundance of vegetation.

The photo above shows a pale green-yellow film concentrated near the vegetation at the water's edge. Small floating patches and speckles that are consistent with algae, pollen, or organic debris accumulating in slower-moving water, contrasting with the polluted water seen late last month.

You might have spotted the three Canada Geese and a single Egyptian Goose (see the closer shot below). There appears to be a greenish film along with stringy patches accumulating near the bank and around the waterline. This includes floating organic material intertwined with leaves and small pieces of debris.

Canada geese: have the classic black neck and head with a white chin strap. The Egyptian Goose has a brown and tan body, distinct dark eye patch, pinkish legs and a chestnut-coloured patch on the wing.

Here an Eurasian Coot walking alone on the bank-side sludge. Eurasian Coot: identified by an entirely dark/black plumage. Distinctive white bill and white frontal shield extending up the forehead.
