All vacancies are currently unpaid, volunteer roles. Great for experience, for you CV but also for a sense of feeling valued and giving back to the community. You can be part of a team, meeting new people and contributing towards rewarding projects. All positions require a clear criminal history, a minimum age of 16 and ability to understand basic documents but no other skills or experiences necessary. If you do however have any experiences or skills that could be useful to these roles then please do let us know as this would be a valued asset.

Trustee
A trustee is reponsible for governing the trust and guiding the team to ensure the trusts remains ethical, forward-thinking and continuing to benefit the residents it serves.
A trustee is reponsible for making informed, objective decisions and must act with high integrity according to the terms of the trust constitution.
A trustee should understand the purposes of the trust, know the day-to-day operations and be confident to express their concerns.
We have a small team of trustees that are expected to attend meetings and take votes on decisions that affect the trust.

Chair of the Board
We require a person who is confident and committed to organise and run meetings.
Secretary (FILLED)
A Trustee Secretary is a responsibility for governance, administration, and legal compliance. They ensure smooth operations by managing meetings, maintaining accurate records, and acting as a key liaison for the board.
- Board Administration: Preparing and distributing agendas, papers, and minutes for meetings and AGMs in collaboration with the Chair.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensuring the charity acts in accordance with its governing documents, charity law, and regulations.
General Board Member
None of the liabilities or decision making responsibilities that a trustee has but a general board member would still sit on the trust committee and provide advice, expertise, or support.
A general board member is a valued member of the team but cannot make final decisions on behalf of the trust.
General board members will be expected to attend a minimal amount of meetings per year.
