Queen's Park, London Policing Team

Queen's Park Trust and our members receive a great deal of support from the local policing team through Metengage. Residents can join Metengage directly! Join today and connect with the local Safer Neighbourhood Team who work tirelessly to keep us safe!

This is an opportunity to connect with the team through a free, digital platform launched by the police to improve local safety by creating direct communication between local policing teams and residents.

Reporting incidents or crimes to the police is essential for protecting communities and ensuring justice. It provides a formal record that helps prevent further offenses, allows police to deploy resources to high-crime areas, and is usually required to process insurance claims.

Key Reasons to Report:

  • Community Safety: Alerts law enforcement to emerging crime patterns or suspicious activity.
  • Crime Prevention: Helps prevent repeat offenses and protects vulnerable members of the community from harm.
  • Insurance Claims: Provides a formal crime reference number required by most insurance providers to process compensation or replacement.
  • Bringing Offenders to Justice: Gives the criminal justice system the evidence needed to investigate, prosecute, and deter future illegal behavior.

What and How to Report:

You should report any crime you witness or experience, as well as any suspicious behavior or immediate dangers. In the UK, it is vital to know exactly when and how to reach out:

  • Do this if there is an immediate danger to life, a crime is actively in progress, or a suspect is still at the scene.
  • Non-Emergencies: For less urgent matters (or to provide tips on suspicious activity), you can use the Metropolitan Police reporting tool online or call 101 to speak directly with an officer.

"PC Ashley responds to my messages asking advice or expressing concerns, very promptly and always puts thought and effort into every reply. If he doesn't hear from me for a few days, he checks in with me. Nothing is too big or too small!

When I first met him, I lectured him that local police had let down some residents, taking a report for a crime and never giving them any closure and PC Ash agreed and promised to work with me to resolve those issues which he has done.

He always tries to help with my requests, whether it is to attend an event or access CCTV and so much more. He even helped me a great deal in trying to track the whereabouts of abandoned kittens.

He is a great community police officer and we are lucky to have him!"

Safer Neighbourhood Ward Panel Meeting

Confirmed -Thursday 10th September 2026

Venue to be arranged

What is a Ward Panel?

A Ward Panel is a community-led group where local residents meet regularly with the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), made up of dedicated police officers and PCSOs assigned to your area. Chaired by a volunteer, the panel reviews local crime trends and discusses issues such as anti-social behaviour, crime, and safety concerns. Together, we review priorities and action plans to address what matters most to local residents.

If you have any questions or would like to raise an issue for discussion, please feel free to contact me.

We appreciate your time, and we look forward to seeing you there!
