The water appears clear and transparent, with no visible signs of pollution, discolouration, excessive sediment, or algal growth that would indicate poor water quality. Gentle ripples are present across the surface, suggesting a steady current and continuous movement of the water.

Viewed from Queen's Park Canside the canal exhibited good visual water quality, with no obvious signs of pollution, litter, or algal blooms. Light ripples were present across the surface, while reflections of surrounding buildings and vegetation remained visible.

Conditions were slightly windier than previous observations, resulting in greater surface disturbance. Despite this, no visible signs of pollution or water discolouration were recorded. Artist Freddie Denton was commissioned to paint the Queen’s Park Canalside Mural, the mural design features the phrase ‘Ebb & Flow’ & 'W10" The sunken boat (submitted Canal & River Trust 18 April) remains a significant and easily identifiable feature of the canal environment.
